Research

 

 

My primary research area is perhaps best described as adaptive music technology but in practice this finds its way into all sorts of contexts that reach beyond disability. I prefer to think of my research as being focused on design for all, creating technologies and interactive environments that are engaging expressive and inclusive. Much of my performed work is improvised with the recorded results feeding into follow on compositional processes - the point being that I work with my own novel technologies though they are often created with inclusivity in mind.
